Local cities are hiring paralegals to help with the multitude of legal issues cities face on a daily basis. Also, as law firms are trying to reduce costs, they are hiring paralegals in place of lawyers because they will work for significantly less.

When you are trying to find a Paralegal training program, the quality of the program is not as important as the actual certification. You can often find a legal employer who will help to pay for your paralegal training. Still, this can be hard to find because many law firms are not hiring non-certified people. There is new grant money and financing options. Unfortunately specifics vary by state and city, so your best choice is to do some research on programs online and ask them specifically what discounts and financing is available to you. They are definitely willing to negotiate on tuition fees.

You should also contact schools and see if they partner with any firms to allow you to  work and earn your certification.
